Every Christian Believer needs God's Word

No Christian can be without God's Word.  It is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105 NKJV). Without God's truth being poured into our lives on a daily basis, how would we be able to live a life of faith?

How to know the heart of God

How do you get to know someone?  You spend time with them.  You listen to what they say.  After you spend time with them, you start to understand what motivates them.   It's the same with God.  Spend time reading His Word to know what He thinks about.  Listen to Him.  Spend time with God in prayer, talking with Him and listening for His gentle answers.

Are you tired of carrying the guilt burden from your sin? Ask Jesus Christ into your heart and He'll take it away!

Romans 3:23 says "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"

Romans 6:23 says "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

John 14:6 says "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."

Romans 8:1 says "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus"

God's Got Me Right Where He Wants Me
By Rick Oraham

God's got me exactly right where He wants me

No matter how hard at times it is for me to see

The blessings He gives, He sometimes takes away

To see if we'll stay near to Him or stray for away

In times we have less or that are filled with all kinds of stress

It's funny, for it's He we get mad at, we blame Him for these tests

What He knows we need in order to succeed

We take it for granted, figuring we've got all that we need

Forgetting how good that we actually have it

Doesn't make sense until you find yourself reaching out just to grab it

But now it's gone far, far away

Just one more consequence that I have to pay

"Why is this happening?" or "Why am I here?"

What's weird is these answers to His heart He holds dear

That I matter to Him, that He wants to be close

I can't seem to grasp; it's my sin and shame that I cannot dispose

Although sometimes I try, I still can't forget

I guess I haven't figured out how much He loves me just yet

The things we do that He doesn't condone

Yet still he is faithful and He calls us His own

The salvation that sometimes we try to earn

"Don't beat yourself up, son. Tell me when will you learn?

Eternal life is a gift; you can't ever earn it nor lose it

So get up off your feet now and go out and prove it

Life should be different from now on you see

For soon you'll be up here with Me for eternity

Don't ever give up or lose any hope

For each trouble you face I'll give you the strength to cope
